Layers AR is an augmented reality platform that lets you discover, create, and share AR experiences anchored to real-world locations. Browse themed layers, scan your surroundings, and connect with creators.

How do I discover AR experiences?
Open the Layers tab on the home screen to browse featured layers. Tap a layer to see all placements in that category. Use the Scan tab to point your camera at posters, signs, and surfaces to reveal nearby AR content.
How do I create a placement?
Tap the Scan tab, point your camera at a surface, and use the place button to anchor content. You can add 3D models, images, or web content and assign it to a layer.
How do I follow creators or layers?
Tap a creator's name on any placement to visit their profile and tap Follow. On a layer detail page, tap Follow to see content from that layer in your feed.
How does guest mode work?
You can browse and discover AR experiences as a guest. To create placements, react, or follow creators, sign in with Apple.
What devices are supported?
Layers AR requires iOS 17.0 or later with ARKit and GPS capabilities. Compatible with iPhone XS and newer models.
