Layers AR collects the following information to provide and improve the app experience:
- Account Information: If you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple ID identifier and optionally your name and email.
- Location Data: We collect your device's precise location to show nearby AR placements and to anchor new content at real-world coordinates.
- Device Information: Device model, iOS version, and ARKit capabilities to ensure compatibility.
- Photos: If you choose to upload an avatar or create placements with images, we access your photo library with your permission.
- Usage Data: Interactions with placements (reactions, comments, scans) to power social features.
How We Use Your Information
- To display AR content near your location
- To enable social features (follows, reactions, comments)
- To personalize content recommendations
- To improve app performance and fix bugs
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Information may be shared with service providers (Supabase for database and authentication, Apple for sign-in) who are bound by data processing agreements.
Data Retention
Account data is retained until you request deletion. Location data is stored only as needed for AR placement anchoring. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting hello@gpixiecreativelabs.com.
Your Rights
